The way Mark and we came around with the unloading was by just checking if the @ie.nil. You know that the at_exit method is called at the time of tear down. So something like<BR/><BR/>at_exit do<BR/> if !$ie.nil?<BR/> @ie.unload<BR/>end<BR/><BR/>should work.
